OptumHealth Care Services – UnitedHealth Group

Ø      Executed project coordination and administration of two multi-million dollar federal grants focused on the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI). 

Ø      Collaborated with marketing manager to create partnerships and development of integrated marketing strategies that have gained over 7,500 enrollments, exceeding 3 year break-even goal by over 100%; $2 million in program revenue and on pace to prove over 10B in Medicare health savings.

Ø      Administered a 5-year CDC-led grant to scale and sustain the DPP cost model by partnering with payers, employer groups and community based organizations to deliver the program. 

Ø      Partnered with 5 payers and acquired over 650k additional covered lives as well as 13 provider organizations to deliver the program. 

Ø      Compiled and documented monthly grant financial documents, including participant intervention - claims, prepared for federal grant audits, provider network payments and travel expenses.

Ø      Conducted network provider support, including the scheduling and participation in monthly provider meetings, documented meeting outcomes and distributed meeting notes to all participants.
